Our Organization
The Clark County Family and Children First Council is a regional council of governments. The powers of the Council can be found in its Agreement of Articles and are based on Ohio Revised Code Section 167. The duties of the Council are also found in the Agreement and are based on Ohio Revised Code Section 121.37

Family Representatives
Each local Family and Children First Council in Ohio is required by state law to include in its membership 3 family representatives. Ohio Family and Children First provides guidance useful to local Family and Children First Councils seeking to engage and empower families. See the effective practice model here.
Service Coordination
Some children and their families get services from many agencies, and local service providers, and from informal support networks, like community groups, friends, neighbors and relatives. Organizing all these services and all these people can be frustrating and overwhelming.
