Family Representatives

Each local Family and Children First Council in Ohio is required by state law to include in its membership 3 family representatives. Ohio Family and Children First provides guidance useful to local Family and Children First Councils seeking to engage and empower families. See the effective practice model here.

The Family Council Nominating Committee recommends persons who have been recipients of services to families and children in Clark County to the role of Family Representative. The Board of Trustees selects individuals from those recommended. Family Representatives serve a three year term and may serve one additional three year term.
